Angiography
Angiography is an imaging test that uses X- rays to view your body's blood vessels.
This test is used to study narrow, blocked, enlarged, or malformed arteries or veins in
many parts of your body, including your brain, heart, abdomen and legs. A coronary
angiogram is an X-ray of the arteries in the heart.
This shows the extent and serverity of any heart disease.
Angioplasty
Angioplasty also known as balloon angioplasty abd percutaneous transluminal angioplasty (PTA)
is a minimally invasive, endovascular procedure to widen narrowed or obstructed arteries or venis,
typically to treat arterial atherosclerosis, A deflated balloon attached to a catheter
(a balloon catheter) is passed over a guide-wire into the narrowed vessel and then inflated to a fixed size.
The balloon forces expansion of the blood vessel and the surrounding muscular wall, allowing an improved blood flow.
A stent may be inserted at the time of balloning to ensure the vessel to increase
the opening of a narrowed (stenotic) valve. It is used.
Pacemaker
Pacemaker is a small device that's placed in the chest or adbomen to help control
abnormal heart rhythms. This devices uses electrical pulses to prompt
the heart to beat at a normal rate. Pacemakers are used to treat arrhythmias.
Balloon Mitral Valvotomy
Balloon Mitral Valvotomy (BWM) used to increase the opening of narrowed (stenotic) valve.
It is used forselect patients who have mitral valve stenosis, aortic valve stenosis & pulmonic valve stenosis.
Treatment Of Atrial Septal Defect(ASD)
Treatment Of Atrial Septal Defect(ASD) which is a congenital heart defect in
which blood flows between the atria (upper chambers ) of the heart.
Treatment Of Ventricular Septal Defect
Treatment Of Ventricular Septal Defect (VSD) which is a defect in
the ventricular septum, the wall dividing the left and right ventricles of the heart.
